John 16:33 NIV
I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. 
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart!
I have overcome the world.

This life is full of great opportunity, fun, fulfillment, pleasure, achievement, people,  friends, food,  family,  love.
But. Business's can fail, health can be lost, jobs not work out,  people we love die, disasters strike, assignments missed, relationships don't last...Jesus is just keeping it real. In this world there will be trouble, not maybe. Will be.
In Jesus is peace. Despite and through it all, in Him there is a peace that goes beyond our circumstances and our understanding.
And. In the end. He has won the game. He has overcome, and one day all will be made new.
