Let your gentleness be evident to all. 
The Lord is near.
Philippians 4:5 NIV
From lockdown, where Paul's freedom is completely restricted, while asking us to live out gentleness, equity, fairness and justice, he gently reminds us that the Lord, "kurios", the master, is near. 
This word gives security in uncertain times. When our thoughts start swirling around and getting a life of their own,  when fear seems to take over...it's OK Paul reminds us. 
It's OK, the Master is here. 
He is near.
This word for near is about proximity and time.
He is near. 
He is near in Spirit 
He is returning in the flesh.
He is near

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
