maintain constant love for one another...
Be hospitable to one another...
Just as each one has received a gift,
use it to serve others,
as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Even though the church is scattered, persecuted, Peter is urging his readers (& me) to look outward.
Love one another
Be hospitable
Serve one another with the gifts, the "charisma", the gift of grace, that you have. 
Love. Look outward.
Be hospitable. Look outward.
Serve. Look outward.
I think Peter knows my heart tendency to want to look inward, to be selfish, and he is gently and kindly encouraging me to keep looking outward.
To use the gift of grace given by our God of grace. 
And, if we don't know what our gift, our charisma is, you'll figure it out by looking outward.
Living and serving in community, in communion with one another.
