Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.

There is One who covers over all our offenses.
And that "covering" is more than overlooking, more than not taking offense, or just not repeating.
Jesus absorbed it.
Absorbed it all.
Somehow into His body on the cross my sin and yours was taken on, taken into...Him
An act of Love.
Friends.
So that there need be no separation, no barriers between us and God.
We're there, but not there.
The price is paid, our sin absorbed...but sometimes we don't let it go...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
