James is asking us to think about our situation, our circumstances, in new ways.
To take a step back
To consider, to think.
Sometimes that's really hard because what's in front of us is so big or difficult or seemingly immovable.
Sometimes we need a bit of help with that from someone we trust to help us re-frame our circumstances...(or maybe we can help someone else do that)
"Because you know that..."
Always re-frame in light of the Truth.
I re-frame my circumstances in light of who God is, what He says, what Jesus did, what Grace means, what Love is...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
