David was a King.
He had power, wealth, authority, yet...even he needed a deliverer.
So often we think that we can deliver ourselves, save ourselves.
We have tremendous resources of intelligence, tenacity, compassion...we can solve what seem insurmountable problems, achieve what seems to be impossible
But
When we are faced with a holy God
Eternity
Creation
Sin
We know that we need a deliverer.
The Bible is full of stories of deliverance coming through one person...
And we have that one person.
A saviour
Who not just made a way, but became the way.
And why?
Because He Loves
You
And me
What a crazy story!
God with us
For us
Adopting us...all we need to do is Believe!

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside privately and told them what was going to happen to him.  "Listen," he said,  "we're going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law.  They will sentence him to die. Psalms 118:22-26 NLT What a jumble of ideas! Sometimes our thoughts and ideas about God, about the world, about ourselves, can be a jumble, and the song invites us to write ours too. To just let the jumble tumble out of our minds and find expression. It's OK if our ideas about God sometimes seem half formed, if there's mysteries, things we can't grasp or understand, just don't "get". It's OK to be in a bit of a mind jumble sometimes. The psalmist downloaded in writing, so finding a safe download place is a thing we can do too. It's OK because we are Beloved. #psalms #psalm118 #youareBeloved
