Striving together as one: how come the Christian community can't seem to do that?
Sometimes we complain & bicker about the trivial & leave no energy for striving together.
Rather than encourage, we tend to pick holes...
You & me though, we don't have to be like that. We can choose to stand together, to strive together, "whatever happens".
Paul's in jail for his faith. Can't see my pastor going to jail anytime soon...but...
Tragedy
Financial setbacks
Loss, hurt, grief, depression, illness, injury...these things & more all affect my community & I want to strive together.
Let's follow Paul's call here :)

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
