As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
Psalm 84:6 NIV
The valley of Baka, the valley of tears, of weeping.
The only way is through, but in the process of moving through they make it a place of springs.
Springs are about water, about life, about flourishing. A place where those travelling through, & others coming behind can find goodness.
Look for the most likely areas for water...and dig.
Dig.
In the valley of tears we need to dig.
And in that the psalmist is encouraging us that we'll find some goodness for us, and for other travelers.
What are the likely places to dig?
His Spirit. Pray
His Word. Read
His people. Share
When we're in the valley of hurt, of loss, of grief, it can become a place of life.

Joseph replied..."Dont you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now - life for many people..." Genesis 50:19-20 MSG The view from the drone. The different perspective. "God has been at work in my life despite, in fact within the hatred that you had towards me. Even though I couldn't always see it, I kept trusting Him, even when He was silent, when all hope seemed lost... God was at work... Can you see that now?" #faith #faithinthedark
