Proverbs 14:33 NIV
Wisdom reposes...that seems an odd word...but seems to mean to find it's home, to settle in, to rest after working...so Wisdom finds its place, its rest in our hearts only after work.
Wisdom doesn't just arrive in our lives, we aren't born with it, but it rests in our hearts after life's experiences, the struggles, joys, wins, losses, grief and celebrations.
But we've still got to be discerning.
Have our eyes open, our ears open, our hearts open for wisdom to find it's place...
And the twist at the end? Even the fool gets a taste, a sample of wisdom's goodness...
