Pete, not only have I got work for you, its going to lead to imprisonment and death...
Peter had a glimpse of his and it wasn't great... but no matter what he had recommitted to following Jesus.
No matter what the future held, his faith would hold.
Because Peter knew that his ultimate future was way more secure, way more certain than anything this shaky world could offer...
Our future too is secure in Jesus...no matter what - so we can get on with what He has for us without fear... fear of what others think, of failure, or even of losing our lives...
