The word here for tight rein literally means to lead with a bridle...like a horse...
A horse is a powerful creature that can charge off...just like our tongue...
Yet when constrained with a bridle the horse goes where the rider wants, gets direction and purpose...
Our words are powerful, they can hurt, deceive, damage and destroy, but they can also bring life, give courage, uplift and motivate.
