But Ruth replied: 

Don't plead with me to abandon you or to return and not follow you.

and wherever you live,

your people will be my people,

When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped talking to her.

Take a few minutes to meditate on it...let Ruth's words to Naomi sink in...

What stands out for you as you meditated?

Maybe you've never "journalled" before, just start writing what's going  on in you as you sit with Ruth's speech. 

"Lord, what do you want me to learn from Ruth, from Naomi, from this covenant?"

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
