Draw near to God,
and he will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands,
you sinners,
and purify your hearts,

James 4:8 ESV
Draw near to God.
And He will show you where you fall short of the mark.
As we draw nearer to God, our sin becomes clearer to us.
Remember that James is writing to Christians, people who need to keep cleansing areas of our lives, not to gain salvation, but because of it.
And as we draw near to God we start to see more clearly where we are double-minded.

Where our faith needs shoring up.
Where our thinking is faulty. The action here is to purify. To remove impurities.
To live by, and live out Kingdom values.
These things are processes that take time, and begin with drawing near to God.
So let's start, restart, there, knowing that we are dearly loved children, that nothing can separate us from His love, start there as we draw near...

Not only that but Jesus was somehow the agent of everything that has been made in the physical, social, and spiritual. Jesus is at the centre of it all. Walking around Jesus. Cooking fish for breakfast Jesus. Heart aching as he ...
