Our words are important.
They do have power.
Speaking words of Life doesn't always mean that everyone will like or even agree with what we say.
Jesus spoke plenty of words that left people hurt, disappointed, angry.
For the hurt, the lost, the outcast, His words were full of compassion, grace, forgiveness.
Speak the truth in love.
Love and truth both have their Genesis, their origin, in God, not in me. My version of both is always going to be a little off, a little distorted, so the more we can get back to, closer to the source, the more our words really will speak life!

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
