Jesus replied,
"Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again.
But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again.

Eventually in this conversation, Jesus reveals that this is not about some potion, something that fixes...but about a person.

Unexpected?
This whole conversation was unexpected, as this woman was at the well when she thought no one else would be there.
What hurt was she carrying?
Jesus met her in that, and gently told her that no matter what, He is the real answer
The life giving answer.
Today, now, in whatever we are carrying, He meets with us, and speaks Life

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
