Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
"My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; my servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; my servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame."
Isaiah 65:13 NIV
There was One who went hungry so we could eat.
One who went thirsty so we wouldn't have to.
Who poured Himself out so that we could drink from the living water.
One who was put to shame, took our shame on himself, took it all...so that we wouldn't have to...
Because he had to?
No.
He chose to.
Why?
Obligation?
There is only one reason.
Love.
It's Love that took him to the cross, and love that held him there.
