Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,

He lived the life we should live, and died the death we should die...so that we don't have to...
What happens when we personalise this?
He was pierced for My transgressions, he was crushed for My iniquities; the punishment that brought Me peace was on him, and by his wounds I am healed.
By His wounds I am healed.
He took what should've come my way.
Jesus paid.
We get the opportunity to live in the light of what Jesus purchased for us...
