Matthew 6:24 NIV

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

What is it that rules your life?
What's the focus of your decision making?
Me? My stuff? My career? My education? My business? My lifestyle?
I think money here represents something. That whereever it is that my focus is...that will "save" me, give meaning and purpose to my life...   that I can save myself.
I am god
But Jesus is clear. There can't be 2 gods because we'll always be conflicted...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
