Matthew 6:19-21 NIV

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal...For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

How easy it is to place our faith in things...house, bank account, business, health, appearance, education, reputation...all good things, but things that can so easily be lost, damaged, destroyed, stolen...
Jesus words are always a challenge. What does this mean to me?
Should I give stuff away then?
Jesus challenged the rules that people esp religious leaders put in place and asks us to think...what does this mean for me? What is my treasure?
What good things have become the most important?

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
