Colossians 1:18 NIV
And he is the head of the body, the church;

We don't need priests, pastors, intermediaries...there's us, the church, and Jesus.
A body and a head. Both need each other.
Somehow in this crazy love of God, he has made himself need us, like a head needs a body.
In this world, it's up to us, the body, to do his work, his mission...to be his hands and feet in this broken yet beautiful world.
"God's church doesn't have a mission, God's mission has a church"

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
