Matthew 2:13-14 ESV

...an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said
Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.
And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt

Why didn't God just send more angels to protect this baby? Surely there were other ways of keeping Jesus safe than getting up in the middle of the night & gapping it to Egypt?
Did they walk? Get the donkey going again?
It all seems really hard...but God set things in motion and then his intervention was a dream...something small & easily missed...
We love the big unmissable signs...but mostly God doesn't seem to work like that...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
