Genesis 12:1 NIV

The Lord had said to Abram
Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.

Abram was called to go...he had to leave a lot of important and good things behind. I wonder how he might have felt about that...?
I wonder if his father, his people put pressure on him to stay?
Abram was successful in his endeavours yet God had something else for him
Change is hard. Hard for those leaving & for those staying
Change challenges us all about what's really important and the need for us to stay connected with God - that's where we really belong.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
