Ephesians 4:30 NLT

And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.

The way that I live, the choices I make, can bring sadness to God...quite a thought...the context of this chapter is about unity in the church, and about living as children of the light...how we live everyday...if I can bring sorrow to  God, then I guess I can also bring joy...
Father in heaven, I need your Spirit within to help me in the choices and attitudes that I have, that I will bring you joy, not sorrow, pleasure not sadness, from the way that I live.
