God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her,
"What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there..."
Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.
Genesis 21:17, 19 NIV
Was the well there the whole time but she couldn't see it?
God had made a way, a way to save Hagar and it was right there.
Water.
Jesus said he is the living water. The water that answers our deepest questions, that addresses the thirst in our soul...
And He's right there.
He's made a way.
He asks the question that he already knows the answer to...
Hagar got water for that day that rescued her from a desperate situation...we get living water to rescue us from the desperate situation of our soul...

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
