Genesis 21:14 NIV
We're at the end of Hagar's story, but the encouraging thing is that she endured some difficult circumstances, yet God was at work honouring His covenants and bringing about His purposes.
We can be sure that God is at work. We may not see it, agree with Him, think He's right, but in the end we have to trust Him.
The challenging thing is that Hagar still went through all of this.

That's a challenge.
Do I really want a God who'll give me what I want?
Do I still trust Him?
When I look at the cross, I have to say "yes".
