I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you...

If Paul's plans can be upset (& more than once) then it can certainly happen to us as well. He clearly really wanted to get to Rome but circumstances intervened. How do we handle disappointment and changed circumstances? When our  plans don't work out?
Paul was one to preservere, to push on...and always with a view to his mission - sharing the gospel and encouraging churches...
The message we often hear is about personal breakthrough, my development, my goals, but for Paul it's God's goals that he pushes for...
