Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God...

This has been written to his church...the Christian life is best lived in community...and when we think of that community it should make us smile:)
Father in heaven, thanks for my church, thanks for the wonderful people who are there, the encouragement I get...thanks too that tho we're far from perfect, each one a bit knocked around in some way, sometimes strong and able to help, at other times needing a hand, a shoulder, a friend...thanks that You have made us for community, and together we reflect more of You.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
