Ephesians 5.1-11.nlt Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children...So live as people of light... Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them...

I don't know what was going on in Ephesus when Paul wrote these words but today's big issues come to mind...war, corporate greed, people trafficking, child abuse, drug & alcohol abuse...and with the internet today any darkness can be delivered to our phones...
So carefully determine what pleases God. Don't just listen because someone speaks eloquently or forcefully, but carefully look into God's word and seek Him...keep away from the darkness & shed light
