Romans 8:31 NLT
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

What things?
What things is he referring to that give us the confidence that God is for us?

It starts at the beginning of the chapter...let's have a look at v 1-2...

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

Free from condemnation now, free from the power of death in the future...yep...God is for us :)
