Hosea 1:1-2 NLT

The lord gave this message to Hosea...during the years when Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah were kings of Judah, and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of Israel. When the lord first began speaking to Israel through Hosea, he said to him, Go and marry a prostitute...

At Church last night we started a series on Hosea.

The country was doing well economically, everything on the outside looked great, but on the inside, there was corruption, oppression of the poor, and gods who were anyone but God.
How are we on the inside?
What or who am I relying on?
Anyone but God?
How are you really?

God who loves us unconditionally, pursues us, even when we push Him off, reject or hurt.
Hosea = salvation

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
