Psalms 142:4-5 NLT

I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought!
No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

David is feeling lost, alone,  in despair. Feels like no one knows or cares.
Ever felt that way?
It was OK for David to express his feelings, and it's OK for us to do that to. No matter what it is. 
Anger
Resentment
Disappointment

Then I pray to you, O  lord . I say, You are my place of refuge.

But despite his feelings he still chooses God. Seeks Him. Looks to Him for refuge.
God wants us to keep it real. He is not interested in the fake, the surface, the mask.  He wants the real you, the raw...because He loves you.
