Proverbs 29:9 NLT

If a wise person takes a fool to court, there will be ranting and ridicule but no satisfaction.

Its like you have a problem with someone, but you just know that person won't listen, or even try to understand, let alone be part of making things right...this proverb says maybe it's better to just walk away from the foolish person, because if you try and address the issue, there will just be lots more noise and nothing will get resolved.
