Revelation 21:5-7 NLT

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!”...And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.

Jesus has done it all on our behalf. He is the start and the finish of it all...and its a gift...freely given to all who are thirsty...

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
