1 Corinthians 13:4-5 ESV

Love...does not insist on its own way;

My way or the highway...but love has a different view...why is my way better?
Ultimately though this is not just about being humble in our interactions with others but our relationship with our heavenly father...acknowleding that His way is the right way...Jesus said this:

Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done. Luke 22:42

In love we choose to follow Gods way for us, not to gain salvation, but because of it :)

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
