Paul's lockdown lesson:
Be realistic!
He's trusting in God that he will get out of jail. In Acts 16 you can read the account when God busted him out of prison.
But God has not done that here. 
At the same time he's trusting God and being real that he might be stuck there; "...as soon as I see how things go with me".
And he's also keeping it real by doing what he can; "but I thought it necessary to..."
And finally Paul is still others oriented, looking to the needs of the people he is writing to.
Being in lockdown Paul still holds his faith, is realistic about his situation, does what he can, and holds the needs of others in his heart. 
He loves God, and loves people.
