There, in the presence of the Israelites, Joshua wrote on stones a copy of the law of Moses... Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the law - the blessings and the curses - just as it is written in the Book of the Law. There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read to the whole assembly of Israel, including the women and children, and the foreigners who lived among them.
Joshua 8:32, 34-35 NIV
While everyone was gathered Josh wrote down all God's law.
Wrote it on stones.
And then he read it all...to everyone.
Sometimes I wonder if I don't take God's word seriously enough...don't invest enough time in it - maybe Joshua had the right idea to write it out - I've never done that before - so this week I'm going to write out Collosians ch1 word for word & see what God has for me...

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
