Ps 27v1
The Lord is my light and my salvation:
Whom shall I fear?

We place our security in all kinds of things...
The things we own.
Money and investments
Church
Ourselves and our abilities.
Or maybe you have no security and your life is a cycle of concern, fear & dread.
The psalmist introduces us to the worlds best security system.
The rest of heart and mind that we seek, lasting security, & resiliant hope are only found when we embrace the astounding reality of who you are as a child of God.
You are the object of love of the Person who rules everything.
You are secure for one reason: God exists and He is your Father.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
