Friday! Wisdom. Proverbs 29:16 NIV

When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall.

Isn't that the way the world seems...that those who are selfish, against God, ignore truth, hurt or use people...they seem to thrive...but at the end its all different. When this life is over we can only take what we brought into this world, and the end of this proverb points to Jesus return when the only thing is about being right with him.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
