Luke 2 NLT
...All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census...He took with him Mary, his fiancée, who was now obviously pregnant.

All of Joseph's family would have been in town. This was where he came from, and everyone returned home for the census. So how come there was no where for Joseph and Mary? Was the shame of being pregnant and not married so great? Seems that it was.
Jesus rejected even before he was born...
