Proverbs 29:2 NLT
When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.

How true this is. Around the world we see the tyranny and misery inflicted on people when those in power think about themselves first...but all of us have authority in some way, big or small, at home, work, in our community...now or in the future...do the people around us rejoice at our Godly use of that authority?

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
