Isaiah 54:2, 5 CSB
"Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; 
do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep.
...
Indeed, your husband is your Maker - his name is the Lord of Armies - and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; 
he is called the God of the whole earth."
Isaiah 54:2, 5 CSB
Isaiah has a number of great pictures that our God gave him in this passage - this picture of our Maker as a husband, with all the power of heaven, holy, redeeming, sweeping us up into his care and love. A picture of security and safety.
And when our future is safe, secure, we get the freedom to grow, to take risks, to "enlarge our tent", to drive down deep roots, because we're held by the Maker of Everything.
As we let ourselves sit within this Big Story of our God's love and care, what opens up for you today?
What are you being invited into?
Maybe it's something big and significant, or it might be the smallest of small steps...

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
