Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.

Today we just needed something connected with sport :)
Great to celebrate success, whether it's sport, business, education...& the things we learn about discipline & training & how that leads to success. Paul when he wrote this must have seen a lot of sporting contests...and then connects it to our life as Christians...it takes training, discipline, perseverance, struggle...while it must be gr8 to hold that RWC as champions, the prize we will win is one that will never fade...imagine that!
