Psalm 119:46-47 ESV

I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame,  for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love.

This is echoed in 1 Peter 3v15 where Peter tells us to always be prepared to give a reason for the hope we have (but do it with gentleness & respect)
God's word makes sense to David. It makes sense of his world, and he lives it out in his work and life, so when those in authority over him want to know what he is about, he's not embarrassed or ashamed to talk about God, & how God's word influences his life and decision making
Can I do that?
Clearly point to where the Bible influences my decision making?
How God has worked in my life?
