Matthew 6:1-4 NLT

...don't do your good deeds publicly to be admired by others...when you give to someone in need don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

1. The expectation is that we will give. That we will do good to others. Do you?
2. When we give, or do good, do we make sure someone else knows?  I know I do sometimes...

The left hand/right hand has always intrigued me...how can this work? Maybe it's give and then forget it?
When Jesus talks he is usually trying to get to our hearts, our inner attitudes and motivations and challenge those.
