Matthew 18:21-23, 35 ESV

...Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?
Jesus said to him...seventy-seven times...Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts...forgive your brother from your heart.

This story Jesus told about the King & forgiveness of debt - how much should we forgive?
How much have I been forgiven?
That's the thing that is easy to lose sight of...how my sin is to God, & what it took to make it right.
And as an emissary of the Kingdom my life should be characterised by forgiveness too.
Forgiveness frees us from the hurt, the past, & it's hard...but what is the alternative? Bitterness, anger...we get to choose

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
