Romans 7:25 - 8:2 NLT
Thank God! 
The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. 
So you see how it is: 
In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 
And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. 
Romans 7:25 - 8:2 NLT
After this long discussion about the power of sin, about the value and the shortcomings of the law, about his own humanity, Paul points us to Jesus and to this place where because of Jesus, because we belong to Him, we can put down this voice of condemnation.
I got asked yesterday "how's your inner voice?
What's it saying about you today?"

"So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus."

Maybe it's just me that has this inner voice that takes a different view to that which Paul invites us towards...maybe if God doesn't condemn me, perhaps it's time to dial down the inner critic, to challenge that voice, to look for and celebrate the good...

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
