Psalm 27.10.niv
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
I don't know what it's like to be rejected by my parents, maybe you do...I'm not sure if this is the psalmists personal experience, or 8th he is looking ahead to Jesus rejection, Jesus being forsaken (such a lonely and sad word)
Forsaken for us.
Rejected for us.
He knows what it's like, how it feels, what it is to be rejected, discarded, unloved.
The Lord will receive me. No matter who we are, no matter what we've done, in Him there is rest for our souls and eventually full restoration...
