Psalm 27:5 ESV

For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble;

We live in a world where disease, death, deceit, suffering, loss,disappointment, violence, & war exist.
None of which were part of God's original intention.
People's motivations are not what God intended.
No relationship is free of disappointment, no institution totally free of corruption, no location free of difficulty...we are all touched by the fall.
The only way to navigate in this broken world is by the light of God's word, and the enabling power of Gods grace.
In our trouble God has not left us alone. He comes to us armed with transforming grace and liberating wisdom.
Jesus.
May today your eyes and heart be open to him, the truth of his word, and the grace that he gives to face all that is in front of you.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,  for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. Over and over God rescued them, but they never learned - until finally their sins destroyed them.
