Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord , and who meditates on his law day and night.  That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither -  whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 1:1-3 NIV
I want to be that person - the one like the tree - our plum tree is bearing fruit right now so it's the best thing in the garden - giving shade to those who need it, nourishment and sustenance to anyone who's hungry... so how do we get there?
By not walking in step, doing what those who oppose God do, but jumping into His word for ourselves.
Replace the influence of the world's thinking with what God has to say...then we'll be giving shade and sustenance to those around us...
There's no better time to start than now, and no better place to start from than where you're at...

Genesis 15.8-18.ESV But he said O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it? ...When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces. On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram... March 15 was the last day we looked at Abram's story...he was questioning God and this is God's response...sacrifices and smoke and fire and a covenant...a promise... Isn't that what we crave for sometimes? God, if only you'd just show me smoke & fire, a burning bush a sign, miracle, healing...then all my questions would disappear...all my doubts would be gone... 2moro we'll see Abram's response but I think God values our faith in spite of our questions and doubts. That we choose Him anyway #faith
