Friday! Proverbs...

Proverbs 15:5 NLT
Only a fool despises a parent's  discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise.

Great verse to roll out if you're a parent...especially in those "don't do as I do...do as I say moments"
But how often do we disregard the wisdom of elders in our life? Whether it's parents, pastors, the wise people we know...sometimes we seek out advice and then disregard it...do we treat the Bible that way?
Who's instruction do we listen to?
Social media?
Has that become our source of wisdom?
Jesus prayed to his father in heaven, & told us to do the same...He is the source of truth and wisdom...it's His word that we need to heed
